It was indeed a huge a success as we registered over 450 participants including delegates from 25 public secondary schools in Lagos State and representatives from major government agencies like National Agency for the Prohibition of Traffic in Persons and Other Related Matters (NAPTIP), National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Nigeria Police Force (NPF) and other major parastatals. Also fully represented were corporate partners such as MTN Nigeria, 7UP Bottling Company, Nestle, CWAY, and FPWP Habiscus. The conference was chaired by Mrs Funke Adekoye (SAN). The highlights of the conference were the eye-opening presentation of papers by some of Nigeria's brightest minds such Prof. L.Chukwu, Dean of Post-graduate studies, UNILAG, NAPTIP, represented by Mrs,Funke Kolawole, Dr. Philip Njemanze, a Neuro-Surgeon and Medical Director of Chudicon Medical Centre. The conference which was directed towards creating awareness of the on-going social menace of Human Trafficking, featured, amongst other things censored video clips that highlighted the ordeals that these victims of trafficking go through. The audience, which comprised majorly of youths were impacted throughout the whole as was evidenced by their responses and contributions during the Q/A session. The audience thrilled with great performance of one of Nigeria's best gospel music artists, Liza C. Watch some pictures from the conference in the Gallery.
